Verizon to cough up
Verizon Wireless agreed to resolve a consumer lawsuit over early cancellation fees in mobile phone contracts by paying a $21 million settlement.
The settlement, announced during a trial in state court in Oakland, California, resolves consumer claims in the US without an admission of wrongdoing by the company, said Verizon Wireless spokeswoman Nancy Stark.
