Updated: 2008-07-04 07:42 Thaksin can't go abroad Thailand's Supreme Court has barred former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra from leaving the country while it conducts hearings on graft charges against him and his wife, a court official said yesterday. Thaksin, who needs court approval to travel abroad while he is free on bail, had planned business trips to China, Japan and Britain in the next several weeks while prosecution witnesses appeared in court, the official said.
