Snowboard nuts are over-the-moon at the recent opening in Beijing of a grand indoor snowboard park; they can now 'board to their heart's content all year around.

The Burton Qiaobo Mellow Park is the latest terrain facility to be added to the Qiaobo Ice and Snow World state-of-art indoor snow dome, named in honor of China's double Olympic speed skating silver medalist, Ye Qiaobo.

As last year's unseasonably warm winter season ruled out skiing in many of the snow resorts on Beijing's outskirts, Qiaobo Park, just a 30-minute drive from downtown Beijing, is now the ideal snow sports venue for ski enthusiasts in the Chinese capital and surrounding areas.
