Jackie Chan tops pops

OK! Magazine China has joined hands with Shanghai Media Group (SMG) and CTR market research institute in compiling a survey on the perceived public images of Chinese celebrities. Jackie Chan (pictured) tops the list of 800 or so entertainment and sports stars.

The survey, which spanned the period from the end of 2007 to May 12, 2008, is based on questionnaires randomly handed out to residents of Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou in the 18-35 age group. Respondents answered questions on their impressions of various Chinese celebrities' attitudes to work, marriage, love and social responsibility, based on their public image as projected in the media.
