Pingyao county, a widely known 2,700-year-old settlement, yesterday hosted a guest as old as itself - the Olympic flame.

Situated in the city of Jinzhong in north China's Shanxi province, Pingyao is one of only two counties among 113 domestic Olympic torch relay destinations.
