Tycoon, star in media venture

Indian billionaire Anil Ambani will form a joint venture with actor Amitabh Bachchan (right) to make movies and content for television, the Internet and mobile phones.

Reliance Big Entertainment Ltd will form the joint venture and tap members of the Bachchan family, including Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek and Aishwarya, all actors, the Mumbai-based company said in an e-mailed statement yesterday. It didn't provide details, including the investment in the venture.
