LAUSANNE, Switzerland: The head of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Jacques Rogge on Monday said there was "confusion" among the public about the rising costs of the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
"There is unfortunately some confusion among the general public between the operational budget for the Games and the infrastructure budget," Rogge told journalists at the IOC's headquarters here.
The operational budget, which covers the two weeks of the Games itself, is set at around $2 billion, Rogge said.
