Schoolgirl wins ticket to Beijing Olympics

A little shy, a lot overwhelmed, but with a never-ending grin - Marla Beissel's reaction said it all.

Monday morning, at the Carncot Independent School for Girls assembly, the lucky 7-year-old found out she was going to Beijing, to attend the Olympics as a youth ambassador.

The prize was part of the launch of the My Greatest Feat promotion, where Year 3 and 4 students around the country will don pedometers and count their steps.
