Taiwan hailed for media move

Ye Kedong, deputy-director of the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council, yesterday hailed Taiwan's decision to re-allow Xinhua News Agency and the People's Daily correspondents to be stationed there soon. "We welcome the decision," he said.
