Three Kingdoms inspirations

The Three Kingdoms period (AD 220-280) was an era of heroes and their legends.
At the chaotic end of the Han Dynasty (260 BC-AD220), warlords from around the nation fought hard for their own reign. And, so after a decisive battle in Chibi, Hubei province, the state of three kingdoms, namely Wei, Shu, and Wu, was established.
Although relatively short, this period has been greatly romanticised in the cultures of China and many Asian countries like Japan, Korea and Vietnam. It has been celebrated and popularised in several operas, folk stories, novels, and in more recent times through film, television and video games.
