MANILA: More than 700 people were missing yesterday after a Philippine passenger ferry capsized in a typhoon that has killed scores and left a trail of destruction across the country.

LANZHOU: Quake survivors' lives should basically return to normal in two months in Shaanxi and Gansu provinces, where reconstruction should be mostly completed by 2010, Premier Wen Jiabao said here yesterday.
