Excellent ties with Saudi Arabia hailed

JEDDAH: Vice-President Xi Jinping said on Saturday China attaches great importance to its relations with Saudi Arabia and regards the country as a close friend and partner.
He made the remarks when meeting King Abdullah bin Abdul-Azizi Al-Saud of Saudi Arabia on Saturday afternoon.
Xi conveyed greetings and good wishes from President Hu Jintao to the Saudi king.
