Country to rejoin NATO

President Nicolas Sarkozy's top adviser has confirmed France will rejoin NATO's military command.

Elysee Palace secretary-general Claude told Europe-1 radio yesterday that France will be in the "command organizations" of NATO in the future but did not specify when.
