Elderly couple are caretakers for a country

Zhang Guoqing, 82, and Zhu Zongguo, 73, are retired workers living on a pension of some 2,000 yuan ($290) per month. They also have to support a disabled adult son and the young daughter of their deceased second son.

Yet, after the May 12 earthquake in Sichuan, the couple felt moved to donate their entire savings of 3,000 yuan to disaster relief efforts.
