Progress made at East China Sea talks
Talks on the East China Sea with Japan have "made remarkable progress", the Foreign Ministry said yesterday. "The two sides are working out the final details," a ministry press release said.
Ministry spokeswoman Jiang Yu said the two governments would make an announcement once an agreement is reached.
China and Japan have held several rounds of talks since 2004 to resolve the disputes over the East China Sea. The two countries reached a consensus to resolve the issue in May.
