Fair brings German model to China

China Daily | Updated: 2008-06-16 07:42

For the third time, transport logistic China with its integrated Air Cargo China welcomes exhibitors, visitors and other participants from all over the world at the most important meeting point for logistics and transport in Asia.

Since its premiere in 2004 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC) transport logistic China has proven to be the most important meeting point for logistics and transport in Asia. Modeled after the leading international trade fair in Munich, the concept gives companies in the Far East their own forum and presents the entire value-added chain in the sector.

Fair brings German model to China

Just as its counterpart in Munich, transport logistic China obviously is a success story. This year's event will take up one and a half halls at SNIEC. This growth goes hand in hand with a broadening of the international scope of the trade fair - more than 430 exhibitors from 48 countries have registered.

By comparison, at the previous event in 2006 there were a total of 302 exhibitors from 33 countries. This means not only more participating countries and more space in 2008, but also a 42 percent increase in exhibitor numbers.

The fair again aims to provide an excellent overview over the vast developing transport and logistics industry of China. Moreover, for domestic and international players the trade fair plays an important role as business-to-business platform. Visitors can expect more than just an exhibition.

The program features the Air Cargo China Conference and a wide range of information and expertise about the Asian market.

So transport logistic China meets the demands for international networking in the transport and logistics sector - new technologies, up-to-date expert knowledge and the presence of key industry players at the most modern trade fair center in China.

On behalf of one of the investors in the Shanghai New International Expo Center and as a host for transport logistic China in this exhibition venue, I wish all participants every success and I hope you will find interesting business partners and great networking possibilities.
