Single-bamboo boating

The sport originated on the Chishui River in Zunyi. Participants each stand on a "boat" made of a single length bamboo about 20 cm in diameter, use another bamboo stand as a paddle and move about, making turns and other tricks.

Due to its fun and enhancing fitness, the sport from ethnic minorities in Guizhou province will be an event in the National Games for Ethnic Minorities in 2011.
