Big powers to engage Iran

Assistant Foreign Minister Liu Jieyi will join EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana's trip to Iran tomorrow in a bid to renew the negotiation process on Teheran's nuclear issue, the Foreign Ministry announced yesterday.

The international delegation, which also includes representatives from Russia, Britain, France and Germany, will present Iran a new proposal to resume the nuclear talks, Foreign Ministry Qing Gang said.
