Young pianist Jean Dube will hold a concert in Guangzhou. Dub was born in Edmonton, Canada, in 1981.
The internationally appreciated artist has been dubbed as a "prodigy to whom nothing seems impossible" and "one of the most exciting names in his field".

Exhibitions
With the theme of Chu Ru Ping An (be safe when you enter and exit), Sherry Wong's exhibition displays various doors in Xiao Zhou, a village on the outskirts of Guangzhou.
It features the spirit and one-thousand-year history of the peaceful village.
Wong says the money she makes from her photography exhibition will be donated to children in Sichuan.

A show combining ink paintings and multimedia performance is being put on display in Guangzhou. The multimedia performance combines music, photography, fashion, calligraphy, painting and dance - to create an artistic atmosphere focusing on Chinese Buddhism.
Twenty of artist Shui Hetian's ink paintings themed with Guilin landscape will be for sale, with all proceeds to be donated to earthquake-hit Sichuan.
Shui is a photographer and comprehensive visual artist. He was granted the Hong Kong Top Ten Excellent Youth award in 1985 and the Martell Artists of 2005.

The 2008 graduates of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts (GAFA) are holding their exhibition inside the college. One thousand graduates of the academy will conclude their campus study with the exhibition that includes easel paintings, installations and digital photographs.
