Rebuilding homes, hope

For the past month, Wang Caixiu, a 40-year-old woman from a small village in the town of Yingxiu, has been repeatedly asking herself what happened to her home.

Since May 15, three days after the quake devastated the village of Huangjiacun, Wang and her family have been living in a tent at a camp in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan. She wants to go home to tend to her corn, but said she has been unable to because of the constant threat of landslides.

"It looks impossible for us to go back home," Wang said.
