Moving ahead to regional logistics hub

With construction of a widespread transportation network advancing, Baise is striving to build itself into a commerce and logistics hub in southwest China, according to the city government.

As the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region has been designated as a key region spearheading cooperation with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, the border city Baise has attracted attention for its strategic location.

Next to Vietnam as well as Yunnan and Guizhou provinces, Guangxi was before hard to reach because of its mountainous terrain and underdeveloped transportation infrastructure.
