What if you come full circle back to your starting point? Frustrated? Surprised? To Zhou Biaoliang, the 27-year-old principal of a rural primary school sponsored by Project Hope, a circle is the way it should be.

When Zhou was studying at a primary school 16 years ago, her home burned down, leaving the family in a very tight spot.

The Zhuang ethnic girl had to drop out of school for financial reasons despite her good academic performance.
