For the first time we celebrate as an official public holiday our traditional Dragon Boat Festival, which falls tomorrow.
The fact that the festival, together with the Tomb Sweeping Festival, has been added to the country's holiday list shows the government's respect and support of Chinese traditions.
Festivals are the backbone of our country's culture.
