Fireman carries torch after 3 sad weeks in quake-hit areas

GUILIN, Guangxi: When fireman Wang Li arrived here by bus from Sichuan, he saw two people quarreling in the street and became annoyed.

"I wanted to say: 'Your life is happy, why do you have to quarrel?' They should see the misery of the people at earthquake sites," the 33-year-old said.

He was also wondering how to tell his wife about his experience, as he lied before leaving for Sichuan so as not to worry her.
