Corn estimate increased
A government grain think tank said yesterday it had increased its estimate for 2008 corn and wheat output.
China will produce a record 154 million tons of corn this year on expectations of higher yields, up from a May estimate of 149 million tons, the China National Grain and Oils Information Center predicted.
