Diabetes project launched

A public welfare project, entitled "Expanding and Improving Diabetes Education and Care in China", was jointly launched yesterday in Beijing by the Ministry of Health and Project HOPE, a US-based nonprofit organization.

The five-year program will establish 18 diabetes training centers at selected county hospitals and urban community health centers across the country.
