World famous wine expert Robert Parker led his tasting in China this week for a group of lucky guests in Beijing. Forty wine drinkers treated their buds to the world's top eight wines with Parker, a man who has been dubbed "the world's most influential wine critic" by the New York Times.

The group tasted wines that were all above 94 points on the "100-point" wine rating system, which Parker is credited with developing. The group swished both reds and whites, including Riesling, Chardonay, Hermitage, Rouge, Woodcutter Shiraz and Shafer Merlot.
