Read the diaries written by high school students who survived the Wenchuan Earthquake if you're puzzled about the real meaning of life.
Please mull over what the victims thought the moment death came knocking if you're obsessed with such worldly things as fame and fortune.
"I stupidly bit my arm to make sure the most horrible thing I had ever experienced was real rather than just a nightmare. The pain I felt from the biting convinced me that it was real: our school is gone, and so are many of my schoolmates. I used to consider my school as a cage, from which I longed to fly out. But now I miss it, I miss everyone there, I miss even the trees, grass and everything."
