A dance carnival presented by American Brigham Young University's young ambassadors will be shown in Guangzhou next month. The program includes the Fox Trot, Swing Dance, Waltz, and Samba. Dozens of young American dancers will perform.

Classical concert Mozart's Magnificent Voyage will be presented on June 1 and is being called the best gift for Children's Day. It is a theatrical concert presentation designed to introduce children to the life and music of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. This production features two actors performing a story that is underscored by a symphony orchestra playing 22 excerpts of Mozart's best-loved works. Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra will perform the concert.

Exhibitions

An exhibition that defines the different facets of Parisian Design is being held in Guangzhou. This exhibition explores the socio-cultural aspects that designers use in order to create their works, and offers many different insights into the resurgence and significance of references in designs over the last five years.

The ongoing Oil Paintings by Three Australian Artists will showcase the unique, natural scenery of Australia. The 34 large-sized oil paintings will transmit the heat and freedom in deserts through abstract patterns and torrential colors. Three Australian painters, Anton Holzer, Geoff Dyer and Chen Ping, will contribute some of their masterpieces to the exhibition.

Up to 80 artworks of watercolors and prints by Tang Youchu are being showcased in the Guangdong Museum of Art. These masterpieces from the artist, born in 1912, present the social reality and natural scenes of his hometown in Guangdong province during his time.
