New Canadian visa centers
The Canadian Embassy in Beijing announced yesterday it would open three visa application centers in China in a couple of weeks to help handle the increasing applications, which have gone beyond the embassy's processing ability.
These centers include one in Beijing scheduled to open next Tuesday, one in Shanghai next Thursday and another in Guangzhou on June 25. A center in Chongqing is also to open soon. Anyone using the centers will be charged 250 yuan ($35), apart from the application fee, for the more convenient service.
