Shanghai aims to ace 2010 Expo by drawing lessons from relay

Eight days in Shanghai. This is the longest stay I have had in a Chinese city since the torch relay began in the country.

In the beginning, I was disappointed. I would have gladly stayed in any other Chinese city for that length of time except Shanghai where I had spent four years in college.

But I soon found I wasn't so familiar with the surrounds. It all began when my teammate asked me for directions, and I realized I could not help as the city had changed so much.
