Bilateral trade set to blossom

The prospects for greater economic cooperation between China and Russia are rosy, according to a senior researcher in Beijing on Friday.

Bilateral trade has witnessed great advances in volume, structure and trade order, said Cheng Yijun, a researcher with the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.

"The growth of pace is expected to continue, based on the figures in the first quarter", he said.
