Mount Qomolangma climber sets record
A veteran Sherpa guide scaled Mount Qomolangma for a record 18th time yesterday, Nepalese mountaineering officials said.
Appa, who like most Sherpas goes by only one name, reached the 8,850m summit along with several of his team members early yesterday, said Ang Tshering of the Nepal Mountaineering Association.
