Moenchengladbach Puppet Theater is a traditional puppet troupe from Germany that has produced more than 1,000 puppet shows, including Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella, and Pinocchio. The group specially selected the most popular play, "Cinderella", for its China tour. English with Chinese subtitles

Ballet San Jose plans to perform a total of seven programs each night in Shanghai, including classical pieces such as Carmina Burana, The Firebird, and Serenade, as well as modern compositions such as Summerscape and Ontogeny.

CONCERT

The Chinese pop duo, Yu Quan, will kick off a national tour to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its establishment and Shanghai is its first stop. The duo will sing a number of their best-known songs released over the last 10 years, including The Most Beautiful and Be Cool Till the End.

Exhibitions

Tang Zhiyi, a lacquer painter from Fujian province, has a solo exhibition at the No 1 Clubhouse of Xintiandi. Tang's painting depicting village women who are expecting the return of a fishing boat, won the gold award at the 10th National Art Exhibition and is now part of the National Art Museum of China's collection. More than 10 works of Tang's will be displayed at the solo exhibition.

Unai Iribarren, a Spanish photographer, focuses on urban landscapes in their surreal and mysterious form as reflected by the city's light. In 2006, he moved to Shanghai where he continues to shoot for media productions while exploring new photography scopes.
