Stranded Taiwan tourists safe

CHENGDU: The last three members of a Taiwan tourist group stranded in Sichuan arrived here safely at about 5:30 pm yesterday aboard a military helicopter.

They were part of a 14-member group stranded when the earthquake struck. The other 11 Taiwan tourists, including five aged around 75, were transported to the city at noon on Sunday.

Medical checkups showed none of them suffered serious health problems.
