Tourism industry hit

The service sector in the Tibet autonomous region, especially the tourism industry, has suffered great setbacks since the Lhasa violence , the regional government said on Tuesday.

In March, Tibet hosted just 14,200 tourists from China and abroad, down almost 49 percent from last year, Deng Xiaogang, vice-chairman of the government, said.
