You can teach old dogs new tricks, with money
A dog owner in Dalian, Liaoning province, was pleasantly surprised when his four-year-old dog picked up a 5-yuan note (70 cents) and gave it to him on Monday on their way to a local market.
Days earlier, Shi had dropped a 10-yuan note on his sofa and let the dog pick it up for him. He then amused himself by showing the pet other notes and jokingly telling the pooch how to use the cash.
But never thought the animal would take to handling money so naturally.
"Since then, the dog might have got the ability to recognize such sort of cash," he said.

Millionaire mistook two-finger gesture
Dressed as policemen, four knife-wielding men from Jixian, a county in Shanxi province, broke into a millionaire's home on April 10 intending to rob him of two million yuan ($285,000) but got as much as 10 million yuan after the man misread the gesture of two fingers as 20 million.
Wang bargained with the robbers for half the sum, fearing they would harm him and his family.
The robbery, the biggest ever reported in Shanxi, was solved 15 days later with the capture of the robbers in another province. The money has been recovered.
