Lhasa injured recover

All but two of the people injured in the March 14 Lhasa violence have been released from hospital, an official from the Tibet autonomous region said yesterday.

Medical workers of the main hospitals in the region spared no efforts in treating the injured free of charge, Deng Xiaogang, chairman of the Tibet autonomous regional government, said at a press conference. A total of 407 people have been discharged from hospital, he said.
