Police in Chengdu, capital of Sichuan province, detained three people accused of inciting subversion, and are seeking two others for inciting and organizing illegal demonstrations against the construction of chemical projects, the Beijing News reported.

They are accused of using the Internet and other means to spread rumors, and organize illegal demonstrations.
