Built in the image of a large ship, the CIEIN International Education Experience Hall attracted widespread attention at the Fifth Beijing International Education Expo in Beijing on May 8.
Sponsored by China International Education Information Net (CIEIN), the experience hall is designed to help students who want to study abroad.
Led by the "sailors" dressed in blue navy uniforms, participants holding a "CIEIN pass" enjoyed their journey in international education as they prepare for study abroad.
Interactive efforts
CIEIN provided a number of interactive activities for participants in the expo. On the first day of the event, the hall attracted hundreds of visitors to its one-stop services for international education.
A large number of visitors were interested in the simulated United States visa application and a TOEFL machine test. Experts from Markham International Education Center made elaborate comments on the interview processes.
On days that follow, professionals from Education Testing Service will answer the questions about tests for overseas study. Representatives from Guangdong Development Bank and United Family Hospitals are on hand to explain in detail the processes for loan services and physical examinations.
The experience hall is also inviting participants to join games and providing prizes - even laptops - from global companies including United Airlines, Casio Computer and Chrysler.
