A hundred thousand baby pics make art record
A gigantic mosaic picture consisting of 105,196 pictures of sleeping babies was awarded a Guinness World Record on April 27 in Shanghai.
Babies' photos were selected from websites nationwide to make the mosaic, which was compiled to remind people to look after tiny tots' sleep and health.
It took more than four hours to make the artwork, which was located in the Multifunction Hall of Pudong Zhengda Square. Covering 660 sq m, it is 33 m long and 20 m wide.

Tycoon's offer of romance, car gets cool reception
On the morning of April 27, two huge posters on a campus bulletin board caused a stir at Nanjing Normal University in Jiangsu province.
They announced that a 35-year-old multimillionaire who had graduated from a famous college wanted to find a beautiful wife among the students at the university. He would send a luxury car as the engagement gift if somebody promised to be his girlfriend.
Although some women called the number on the posters, most did not take the offer seriously.

Seniors arrive in Nanjing after cross-country ride
After passing through 11 provinces and riding more than 5,000 km, eight couples from Chengdu, Sichuan province, rode into Nanjing, Jiangsu province, on their three-wheeled motorcycles last Sunday.
They had set off from Chengdu on Feb 22 to publicize the Beijing Olympics and promote fitness among senior citizens.
The cycles, which can be converted into beds, boast a gas stove and pressure cooker taken along to cook meals during the journey.
A few members have caught a cold but the rest are healthy despite the privations of their odyssey.
