Farmer comes out as knife flashes

On the morning of April 20, a villager surnamed Dong in Suichang, Zhejiang province, had a mental breakdown and attacked several people with a knife.

As Dong was about to hurt an eight-year-old boy, Zhu Liancai, a woman farmer, rushed to the scene to help. Although Dong slashed her 40 times with the knife, she managed to save the boy and is now out of danger herself.

Other villagers captured Dong, and police were investigating what caused the attack.
