Who's in
Lohan set to star in Ugly Betty
American actress Lindsay Lohan is all set to get ugly for her guest role in Ugly Betty's third season finale on May 22.
Lohan follows in the footsteps of Victoria Beckham and Naomi Campbell, who have made appearances on the hit US show.
However unlike the two, whose made one-off appearances, Lohan will be returning for an extended stint in its fourth series, the Sun reported.
There are also rumors that Ugly Betty bosses are currently in talks with Lohan to bring her back for eight episodes, as revealed by US sources.
Her character is still in the works and has not been finalized as yet, but the original idea was to have her play a hapless fast food worker that Betty befriends.
007 to hit the airwaves
Toby Stephens, the man who played the villain in 007 flick Die Another Day, will now be playing James Bond himself in the first full radio adaptation of Dr No.
However, the man who will step into villain Dr No's shoes in this radio adaptation will be Poirot star David Suchet.
The radio adaptation is being made to commemorate the 100th birth anniversary of Bond creator Ian Fleming and will be broadcasted on May 24.
The radio station will also be airing a documentary based on Fleming's niece's attempts to find out more about her uncle.
Both the programs are part of a season, which will honor the author of Bond books.
Dr No was Fleming's sixth Bond novel and it was recreated into a theatrical movie just four years after it was published in 1958.
In the movie, Bond is sent to Jamaica to probe the mysterious disappearance of two of his colleagues.
The Radio 4 adaptation's cast also includes Samuel West, John Standing, Martin Jarvis and Peter Capaldi.
Dusty to get Kidman tribute
Oscar-winner Nicole Kidman is to star in a film based on the life of British pop icon Dusty Springfield, according to entertainment industry press.
The 40-year-old Australian actress will also produce the biopic, Daily Variety reported, adding that it was one of two films on Springfield currently in the works in Hollywood.
Springfield, who died in 1999, enjoyed huge success throughout the 1960s with a string of hits including I Only Want to Be With You, You Don't Have to Say You Love Me and The Look of Love.
Springfield's success masked a troubled personal life however that saw her battle mental illness and drug and alcohol problems. She was diagnosed with breast cancer in 1995, four years before her death.
Kate Hudson tops list of most beautiful people
Kate Hudson has topped the World's Most Beautiful People list in People magazine, landing the cover of the annual beauties issue.
People editors chose Hudson as their cover model for her natural beauty, pointing out that the actress "doesn't owe her famous sun-kissed looks to thousands of hours logged at a spa".
Hudson beat Salma Hayek, Mary J. Blige and Bruce Willis and Demi Moore's eldest daughter Rumer Willis, who poses provocatively on a picnic table, wearing a gothic dress and ankle-length dominatrix boots for her People picture.
Also named on the new World's Most Beautiful People list are comedian Sarah Silverman, Christina Applegate, new mom Isla Fisher, the cast of TV phenomenon Gossip Girl and celebrity couples Jessica Alba and Cash Warren and Eva Longoria and Tony Parker.
