Asia's best to tee off for Pine Valley riches

An all-star field featuring the best players from the Asian, Japan and China tours will headline the upcoming Pine Valley Beijing Open.

After a successful debut last year at the Pine Valley Golf Resort and Country Club, when India's Gaurav Ghei hoisted the inaugural trophy, this year the capital's premier golf event doubles its prize purse to $1 million and will be tri-sanctioned by the Asian Tour, the China Golf Association and the Japan Golf Tour Organization (JGTO).

The May 8-11 event will mark the first time a JGTO event has been played outside of Japan.
