Rural benefits on show

A display was held yesterday at the Beijing National Agricultural Exhibition Center to showcase the benefits of the "warmth project" which promotes economic development in rural China.

Sponsored by the China Association of Vocational Education, the project has established 106 vocational training centers, trained more than 4.6 million farmers, laid-off workers and disabled people, and has helped more than 1.8 million people find jobs since it was launched in 1995.
