Student jailed for threat
A Russian news agency says a Siberian court has convicted a college student for making a joke threat to kill President-elect Dmitry Medvedev and has sentenced him to 16 months in prison.
Prosecutors say Anton Epikhin had posed as a terrorist group member threatening to murder Medvedev and attack polling stations during last month's election.
