Valuable relics finally returned to rightful home

Fifty-one relics were returned to their home in Xi'an, capital of Shaanxi province, on Thursday.

The relics, made during the dynasties of Southern Song (1127-1279), Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1636-1911), were recovered thanks to collector Cheng Xiaohu, who spent 5 million yuan (about $714,000) bringing them back from Canada and the United States. He then donated them to the China Collections (Xi'an) Exhibition and Trade Center.
