Guan Gong statue gets thorough 3-day cleaning

It took 10 cleaners more than three days to clean a 15-m-tall statue of Guan Gong in Xuchang, Henan province.

It was the first time in six years the local government had organized a cleaning program for the six-story high statue. Guan Gong was a famous historical figure during the period of the Three Kingdoms (220-265). Many Chinese people still worship him today.
