Special supplement: Green hotels add special color to Macao tourism

The Macao Green Hotel Scheme has entered the second year after a successful start in 2007.

Organized by the Environment Council of the Macao Special Administrative Region in collaboration with the Macao Government Tourist Office, the scheme enjoys support from the Macao Hoteliers and Innkeepers Association, Macao Hotel Association, Macao Productivity and Technology Transfer Center, Macao Hotel Employees association and consultancy services from the Hong Kong Productivity Council.

This award is designed to demonstrate the importance of environmental management and honor hotels that have committed to environmental management, according to the organizers.
