Interests true motive of 'rights activists'

Calls to boycott the Beijing Olympic Games and the scandals of trying to disrupt the torch relay have only achieved one thing: even people who are not interested in any sports or politics know where and when the Summer Olympics will be held, Russia-based www.utro.ru said.

Motivations for the boycott calls are different. The progressive public in the West insists on humanitarian values. Cynical politicians and experts start to talk about a new Cold War, aiming to put pressure on the Chinese government.
